You’re off in a better place now. Getting past the storm was difficult, getting past you is a different story.

Nothing is permanent in this journey. All things shall pass. You just passed sooner. You went home, never having the chance to say goodbye.

I live in the comfort of knowing you’re all well now. Living in the comfort that someday soon, we’ll all be together.

I was in…damn, can’t remember the name…that orange-themed bookstore on the topmost floor Robinson’s Galleria that was a re-branded store of National Bookstore! Yeah, that one! Anyway, when I saw this, I thought good for her. There were also two men looking through the magazine shelves.

Their conversation went like this (translated na ‘to):

“Maricar will never get married.”

“Why not?”

“Well, the scandal and all. Why? Would you marry her?”

“Yeah, why not?”

“If there weren’t a recording, that’d be fine with me. But that isn’t the case. How do you explain that to the kids?”

By that point I was too far away to listen how the conversation would turn out. I just thought that her silence has struck everyone she doesn’t really personally know. Who are we to judge anyway?

“Let he without sin cast the first stone.”

The one ridiculing her possessed the face only a mother could love by the way.

But they set you free, so it’s a necessary, non-negotiable, hard and brutal fact.

I can’t write anything useful right now. My mind is consumed in problem solving, but my body is not. A lot of “should have beens, might have beens”. Pffft. Meaningless. Undeniably, something is stirring up. Good or bad, I do not know. It’s like vomiting within.

I’ll hold on to life’s little lessons I’ve been telling everyone who has at one point been in deep shit.

…under the 1:1 Scale Gundam in Japan. That would definitely be memorable. I would also like a rock band and jazz band to play through the whole night.

Imagine, getting married under the crotch of the monstrous thing!

Also, if you don’t get invited, that doesn’t mean I didn’t have the budget for it. It just means we ain’t friends. Bwahaha!
